All three competed on Saturday, but it was Kevin Davy White who had the lowest number of audience votes on Saturday finished in third place and was sent home. It's the XFactorFinal tonight! Simon was missing again tonight as he was still feeling under the weather after being hospitalised after a fall this week , but Alesha Dixon stepped in at the last minute to take his place. Yesterday's show saw Louis Walsh's Boys and Sharon Osbourne's Girls take to the stage, and unfortunately it meant we had to say goodbye to Spencer Sutherland who was the first contestant to leave. So what about tonight's crop of performers? Here's another look at their performances, alongside the judges' comments. Sharon said that they were "so relevant" and "turned the place into a party" and Nicole told them "it was an amazing and empowering performance".
The X Factor is over. The auditions seem like a lifetime ago, we can just about remember Boot Camp and it's probably best we all forget the horrid Six Chair Challenge. Now, there are just three acts left in the competition and this year's champion will be crowned in just a few days' time. For the first time ever this series, who wins will be decided entirely by the public. Sorry Simon, Louis, Nicole and Sharon, but you don't have a say at all!
The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. For the first time in seven years, the judging panel remained the same as the previous series, with Simon Cowell , Sharon Osbourne , Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh returning. This is also the first series to be sponsored by Just Eat , with the show having being sponsored by TalkTalk since ,  as well as the second time the show has premiered in September, rather than August, since the first series in In December , Louis Walsh confirmed he would continue to judge the series through , stating he had signed through "the next two years". Dermot O'Leary returned for his tenth series as presenter. On 23 June , it was announced that Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon would appear as a guest judge for the first day of Manchester auditions, due to Scherzinger having a "previous diary commitment". On 4 July, it was reported that there would be major changes to the show this year.
