This convention is Heroes and Villains Fan Fest and it is dedicated to celebrating superhero fandoms. Heroes and Villains Fan Fest is spread across two days and offers fans the chance to enjoy a convention based around some of their favourite Marvel and DC heroes. They have the opportunity to meet the stars of some big name superhero Films and TV shows. London was lucky enough this year to have some amazing guests who have been in some pretty big films such as Michael Rooker Yondu and Sean Gunn Kraglin who both very recently appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. This was the first time the convention has come over to the UK.
Greg Nicotero, Chandler Riggs and Michael Cudlitz—all stars of the hit show, The Walking Dead—have already been added to the line-up as tickets went on sale earlier this week. London and its attendees blew away those expectations.

Additional security was, at the last minute, put in place after the horrific events at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester earlier that week, giving extra piece of mind to attendees. While it is completely out of the hands of Frazier and his team as to who cancels and when, there was a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth on social media. - It is called a Fan Fest for a reason.

No convention is a real convention without John Barrowman being part of it. He is a true entertainer and knows exactly how to play with the audience to keep their attention and so that everyone at the panel has a fun one hour and one that everyone will remember for a long time. Everyone who has witnessed a John Barrowman panel before or has seen footage of one knows exactly why that is the case. If you are one of those few who have never seen a video or a picture of one of his panels before, then you just have to take a look at how John entered the stage and you know why he was the perfect reason to open the convention. Well JohnBarrowman never disappoints!
D and Captain America. On the Saturday John Barrowman kicked the day off with style in a dress and leggings covered in the tardis! And he knows how to make an entrance! The day closed with the Supergirl panel featuring Mehcad Brooks. I was lucky enough to get a seat a couple of rows back from the front and it was amazing as Emily Bett Rickards, Robbie Amell and Josh Segarra all crashed the talk! In the rest of the panel Stephen Amell discussed who his favourite hero other than Green Arrow would be — The Flash, his favourite villain — Deathstroke, which other character he would play in the show — Diggle, his experience on American Ninja Warrior and what his favourite moments are on the show — the quiet ones.
